Sweetopia Lab uses a real-time color-blending algorithm that maps each fruit to a defined color position on the HSL spectrum. When you add an apple (deep red, hue ~0°), a banana (warm yellow, hue ~55°), and a grape (violet, hue ~275°) to the laboratory simultaneously, the engine calculates a weighted average across all three hue vectors, producing a blended output color that genuinely reflects the combination rather than approximating it.

The palette generation system goes one step further: after producing the base mix, the app constructs a full 5-color scheme by applying complementary, analogous, and triadic offset rules. This means every palette exported from Sweetopia is not just a single hex value — it is a complete, professional-grade color scheme ready for immediate use in design tools. The 10-fruit catalog (Apple, Orange, Banana, Strawberry, Lemon, Kiwi, Pineapple, Grape, Watermelon, Cherry) provides a palette space of over 1,000 unique combinations.

User progress is tracked across five achievement categories — First Mix, Recipe Master, Color Artist, Dedicated, and Experimenter — each mapped to specific usage milestones. The Stats screen visualizes weekly mixing activity through a horizontal bar chart segmented by day of week, allowing you to identify when you engage most creatively. Recipe storage uses custom naming and tagging so your best combinations are instantly searchable and organized in the Gallery.
